Actually, for Conner... She wasn't sure what to get. Sure there were plenty of things she could get, plenty that would make everything seem normal. But she didn't feel comfortable doing it. ... Well. Mostly.

So he's getting a gift card to the pet store; just in case he needs extra things and is tight on cash- which she doubts he ever is. That and a small bottle of cologne- one that she knows he'll like in a year or two when he discovers it back home. But since they're not back home... At least it exists here. Subtle, smokey and - it really is just a small bottle. Barely more than a tester. Can't be too obvious or anything.
